Breanne Brazeale, BA
AgroshareMD Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Breanne Brazeale, formerly Breanne Hughes, originally hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico. After years of travel, both internationally and across the US, she’s lived just outside Fort Payne, Alabama near the picturesque Little River Canyon for over a decade.
Breanne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, Portuguese and International Development from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and continues to learn and study daily. Most recently, she’s been learning more about herbalism, botany, and nutrition while pursuing her passion for health, business, and the written word. When she’s not chasing after her three young children, homeschooling, or digging in her garden, she spends her time studying about plants and natural health, cooking nutritious meals with hidden veggies for her picky eaters, and honing her crafts of writing and business management.
Breanne originally came to the Agroshare team in the capacity of blog writer, content developer and editor, working remotely in order to support her family while continuing to spend time with her young children and educate them at home. Some of her work on the site is listed under her maiden name of Hughes.
Since joining AgroshareMD nearly three years ago, she has become an integral part of the team. In her capacity as Chief Operating Officer, she plays a part in many of AgroshareMD’s daily operations. Breanne continues to edit the website’s written content and create new posts, but also currently works closely with Dr. Koe on a range of issues including business structure and planning, photography, social media content, community outreach events, grant writing, staffing, and more.
Having signed on initially simply in search of a way to provide financial support for her kids when she was a single mom, she is thrilled to have found her passion in a career that both supports her family and inspires her. Breanne is elated to work alongside Dr. Koe to help support her mission to improve Alabama’s health statistics in any way she can.
Her personal health goals center on supporting the vibrant health and wellness of her children, husband, and herself. She believes that sunshine, playing in the dirt, and food cooked with love are central to a happy life. Breanne brings to the team a lifelong passion for research and learning, a deep interest in natural parenting and organic gardening, an inescapable wordiness, and organization and drive as she grows as a writer, an operations officer, and a human!
