Dr. Messalina Jordan, DO
Dr. Messalina Jordan, DO, is a physician and the owner of BA Family Care, a Direct Primary Care Practice in Albertville, Alabama. Dr. Jordan is a Florida native, and was born and raised in urban Jacksonville. After working as a nurse for 23 years, she attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwannee, Georgia and completed her residency with a surgical obstetrics fellowship at the Huntsville Family Medicine Residency Program in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr Jordan opened BA Family Care in 2019 as the first DPC clinic in Marshall County, Alabama.
Dr. Jordan is Board Certified in Family Medicine, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Alabama Academy of Family Physicians, the Albertville and Boaz Chamber of Commerce, and the Boaz Rotary Club. Dr. Jordan believes her calling is to provide healthcare to people living in rural America, which she began in Kansas and continues to do in the South. She is proud to provide North Alabama residents with preventative and prenatal care, care for acute and chronic conditions, and other health services, but without the middleman. She looks forward to spending more time with patients, offering medication and laboratory savings, and providing same or next day appointments for her patients.
When she’s not busy running her medical practice, Dr. Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, two stepsons, three daughters-in-law, and eight grandchildren. She also attends the First Baptist Church of Boaz.
As a fellow Direct Primary Care physician, she and Dr. Koe share many of the same beliefs and goals, and they meet monthly to discuss their DPC clinics, new ideas for AgroshareMD, future projects together, and to grow their friendship!
